Description
The Royal British Legion Club, located at 66 Roxburgh Street in Kelso, dates from around 1834. This classical building is two storeys high and has three bays. The ground floor features a painted ashlar central door with windows on either side that have channeled rustication. The first floor is made of polished ashlar and has blind windows on the left and right that formerly flanked a central niche with a pediment, which has since been removed. At the top of the building, there is a deep projecting dentil cornice and a blocking course at the wallhead.
