Description
Kintyre Cottage is a late 18th century, low single storey, three-bay, symmetrical, L-plan cottage located on the main street of Broughton village. The exterior is constructed of squared rubble with sandstone quoins and margins, featuring a large glazed opening on the painted rear elevation.
The entrance consists of a half glazed timber door, and the windows are uPVC sash. The roof is covered with modern slates, and there are corniced ashlar stacks with octagonal clay cans.
Inside, the cottage has been modernised. A recess in the main room covers a former doorway that linked to the village stores.
