Description
14 Douglas Square is probably an early 19th-century, two-storey, three-bay house featuring a central doorway with an architrave. The building is constructed from squared, coursed sandstone and has polished sandstone ashlar dressings. It has a moulded eaves course and rusticated quoins. There is a step leading up to the central timber-panelled front door, which is topped by a rectangular fanlight and framed by a stop-chamfered, corniced architrave.
The windows are timber sash and case with four panes of glazing. The roof has saw-tooth skews and coped ashlar gablehead stacks. It is covered with a grey slate platform roof that includes three rooflights on the front.
