Description
Dinlabyre Aisle is a classical burial enclosure dated 1749. It features ashlar stonework with three-bay elevations, quoined angles, and channelled pilaster strips. The building has a plain projecting entablature with a cornice and blocking course, as well as arched and keyblocked architraved recesses, some of which display memorial tablets from the 18th and 19th centuries. The central bay of the entrance elevation includes an arched doorway with a half-blocked architrave, a plain tympanum, and a double-leaved door consisting of six fielded panels. Above the door is a pediment with a scrolled blank cartouche set in boldly carved mantling. The interior is unroofed with plain walls and features sculpture opposite the entrance, but there are no memorials inside.
