Description

W W Wardell (London) 1857-8, chancel added circa 1935.

Simple rectangular gothic, 4 bay church. East gable has

two-light windows flanking central stepped buttress and

bell-cote at apex. Flanks have paired lancets with gable

porch at south side. Square ended chancel to west,

narrower but of

same height as body of church, has stepped lancets at flanks.

Interior, simple unaisled with open timber roof. Elaborate

reredos, in chancel of c.1935, Archibald Macpherson, 1916
