75, 77 High Street, Peebles

75 and 77 High Street in Peebles is an early 19th-century, three-storey terraced house that may include some earlier materials. The building is constructed of painted whinstone with sandstone ashlar dressings and features long and short quoins. The three bays are shifted to the right, with a regular arrangement of windows.

On the ground floor, the left bay has a deep-set flush-panelled door leading to the house, topped with a diamond pane letterbox fanlight. The centre bay contains a glazed panelled shop door, while the right bay features a plate glass shop window with a basement hatch beneath, as the ground slopes down to the east. There is also a small basement window on the outer left side.

The second floor has square windows positioned just below the eaves, with the centre and right windows being blind. The timber windows include plate glass sash and case windows on the first floor and a 6-pane casement window on the second. The roof is covered with grey slates and features a dry-dashed apex stack with thackstane, ashlar-coped skews, and scrolled skewputts. The interior was not seen in 1994.
