Description
Stotfield, Edgerston House is a single-storey steading built in the later 19th century, designed in a shallow H-plan. The structure is made of cream sandstone rubble with ashlar dressings and features crowstepped gables.
The building has advanced gabled end bays on the east and west sides that flank a lower two-bay central range. The windows break the eaves and are topped with gabled dormerheads. The northwest gable is adorned with a cross finial, and there is a projecting gabled porch on the north side. A tall stack is located at the rear of the building. The roof is covered with grey slates.
