Description
53 Moss Street in Paisley is an early 19th century building that stands three storeys tall with an attic and features three bays. The exterior is made of droved ashlar with polished dressings. The ground floor has been altered for modern shops.
On the upper floors, there are angle pilasters. The first floor includes two Venetian windows that flank a round-arched window. The second floor has a lintel and an eaves band made of alternating fluted and plain blocks. The building is topped with a dentilled cornice and a blocking course. The slate roof has straight skews and a dormer that stretches between the cornice and the end stacks.
