63 High Street, Johnstone

63 High Street in Johnstone is an early 19th-century building that has undergone later alterations. It is a two-storey, four-bay tenement with an attic, featuring a shop and a public house on the ground floor. The structure is built of rubble and is rendered, with the ground floor lined to resemble ashlar on the center and left sides. It includes a base course, a dividing fascia band, and decorative eaves.

On the northeast elevation, the public house occupies the left side with a three-bay front. It has a broad door at the center, flanked by windows, with a fascia above marked "The County Bar." There is another broad door to the right of center. To the right, a later shop features a door and a high window. The first floor has regular fenestration, consisting of single windows in the center bays and later bipartite windows in the outer bays. The wallhead gable has a single flue stack over the two center bays, and there are two large late 19th-century canted dormers above the outer bays.

The building features sash and case glazing on the first floor and in the dormers, with graded slates on the roof. It has coped skews and mutual gable stacks.
