Description
Old Bishopton is a former mansion house that dates back to the early 17th century. It is a two-storey building with a basement, constructed in a severe style typical of Scottish architecture. The structure is built from rubble and features crow-stepped gables. The building has undergone significant alterations and additions between 1916 and 1920, with a modern extension to the north that also incorporates more rubble work.
