Description

Freefield House is a mansion dating from the mid-18th century, featuring two advanced wings and standing at two and a half storeys high. The building is constructed of rubble with a slated roof and has quadrant links connecting the wings. The exterior was altered in 1885 by the architects Marshall & Mackenzie, who added an Ionic columned porch and remodelled the interior.
