Description
Northbar House is a farmhouse built in the 18th century. It is three storeys high and has a five-window front. The exterior is harled, with stone dressing, and the design is quite plain except for a panel featuring the Gilchrist arms located in the upper centre, which dates from around 1742. The house has a crowstepped gable, and the porch is a later addition.
