Description
15-19 Princes Street is a mid-19th century, three-storey and attic, five-bay Classical tenement block. The building features achitraved and corniced windows on the first floor and pilastered timber shopfronts on the ground floor. It is constructed from harled rubble with raised margins. The central doorway has a timber nine-panelled door, with timber fascia shopfronts on either side, each featuring a central recessed doorway flanked by plate glass windows, both of which have single high-set dividers. There are later additions of a pair of canted and piend-roofed dormers. The timber sash and case windows, which have horns, are glazed with four panes. The roof is covered with grey slate, and there are harled end stacks with clay cans.
