Description
Glendevon Church is likely from the mid 18th century or earlier, with significant alterations made in 1803, including new windows and an extension to the east. The church was harled, and eaves were added in 1846. A porch and an east window were introduced around 1860, and the seating was updated by Frame of Alloa in 1886. The south wall features five windows with a square recess between the second and third windows. There is a simple Gothic window on the east wall, and a segmentally arched three-light window on the west wall, added in 1913. The roof, which has broad eaves, dates from 1886, while the west bellcote is a 17th-century birdcage type. There are several late additions on the north side. A bas relief bronze memorial to W.N. Russel, created by G.H. Paulin in 1917, is also present.
