Description

The bridge at Glendevon, dating from around 1757, was possibly repaired in that year. It was widened on the west side in 1775. The structure features two segmental arches, with the southern arch being slightly lower. On the eastern side, which is the original face, there is a long curved cutwater, while the western face has a triangular cutwater. The southern approach to the bridge includes two small arches. The bridge is constructed from boulder rubble with dressed voussoirs. It underwent repairs in 1797 and 1812.
