Description
1 County Place, located at 79 South Methven Street in Perth, is a mid 19th century building featuring two stories and an attic. It has a six by four bay corner layout with shops on the ground floor. The exterior is made of painted rubble with raised contrasting margins and an eaves band. The shop fronts have been altered, and there are piended canted dormers on the east side facing South Methven Street, along with non-traditional doors.
The building predominantly has 12-pane timber sash and case windows, while Nos 73 and 75 feature plate glass timber sash and case windows. The ground floor has plate glass windows. The roof is covered with grey slates and includes a gable stack, with raised skews on the east side.
