Description

The Royal Hotel, located in Melville Square, Comrie, dates from around 1830. It is a two-storey building with an attic and features three windows. The structure is made of local rubble with painted margins and has broad front eaves. The roof is slated, and there are dormers with an attractive design that includes bowed roofs. The chimney heads are made of rough ashlar and are coped. The original glazing is preserved only in the dormers.
