Description

This is a mid-19th century building on Drummond Street, in Comrie. It is a two-storey and attic structure built of local dark snecked rubble with freestone dressings. The ground floor was originally a shop, with two canted bays on the first floor. Later, non-period details, including iron cresting over the bays, were added. The roof is slated, with two piended dormers featuring finials. Elaborate rainwater heads and downpipes are also present. Inside the former shop is a lining of firewood and shafted shelving with an enriched cornice.
