Description
The Post Office on Bridge Street in Comrie is a building that dates from the 19th century. The northern part of the structure is a two-storey section built in the later part of the 19th century, featuring two dormer windows at the upper level. It is constructed from dark local rubble that has been stugged and lined out, with stugged freestone dressings. The southern part of the building, dating from around 1840, is three storeys high and has two window openings. This section is made of coursed rubble that is lined out in white, with defined margins. The ground floor serves as a shop, and there are gabled dormer heads above the windows, topped with a slated roof.
