Description

Earnhope is a single-storey and attic early Victorian villa dated 1864. The building features an asymmetrical front with an advanced gable on the left, which includes a ground floor canted bay and a gabled porch in the re-entrant angle. On the right side, there are bipartite windows with gabled dormers above. The structure is constructed from rubble with raised dressings and shouldered chamfered openings, topped by a broad eaved slated roof. The front wall is adorned with a ball finial, and there are stop-chamfered gatepiers along with a well-crafted wooden gate from the early 20th century.
