Description
The School House in Kinnaird Village was built in 1834 by W. M. Mackenzie, with a roof raised and dormers added by builder William Cameron in 1858. It is a single-storey building with an attic, constructed from rubble with stugged dressings. The building features 12-pane windows and pedimented dormers. A porch was added around 1920, which has a piend roof with a bell-cast. The building was re-categorised from grade B to grade C(S) in 2006, reflecting its group interest, and this listing applies to both the interior and exterior as relevant to its type.
