Description

The Dovecot at Kinnaird Castle is a rectangular, single-compartment structure built with rubble, which was originally harled. It features stone boxes and may date back to the 17th century, with the present skews and back wall coping from the 18th century. The inner lintel of the door is made from a reused sculptured stone, possibly a tomb slab, that is incised with concentric circles interlaced with straight lines and shears.
