Description
Old Mains of Rattray is a two-storey building with three windows, featuring a harled exterior with margins. It has a decayed sculptured lintel that displays the Crichton crest, dated 1694, along with the inscription "DAVID (CRIC)HTON," which is barely legible. There are grotesque heads at the skew-putts, and a window on the west gable has roll moulding. Additionally, there is a single-storey office wing that is dated "17 DC IR 20."
