Description
15 Burrell Square in Crieff is a pair of houses built between 1809 and 1810. This two-storey building with a basement features four bays and a timpany gable, situated in an irregular terrace on a slope that falls to the southwest. The exterior is constructed of bull-faced ashlar stone with contrasting dressings.
The northwest elevation is symmetrical. There is an oversailing stair leading to a part-glazed panelled timber door located in the bay to the right of the center, with a window beyond it. The first floor has regular fenestration close to the eaves. The bays on the left mirror this arrangement but do not have the oversailing steps. The timpany gable is positioned at the center.
The windows in No 14 have a 12-pane glazing pattern in timber sash and case style, while No 15 features modern glazing. The roof is covered with grey slates, and there is a rendered stack on the timpany gable and a brick stack to the southwest, both of which are coped and have some cans.
