Description

18th century walled garden remodelled and expanded westwards in

19th century.

WEST COMPARTMENT: red sandstone walls to W and N and outer brick wall of walled garden to E; open to S. Glasshouse ranges demolished but some foundations remain. Free standing potting shed, stone built with corrugated-iron roof. Mutual boundary wall with Ballindean Nursery Lodge (listed separately) and small garden house above burn included in listing.

EAST COMPARTMENT: rectangular brick walled garden with stone-built 2-storey, pyramidal roofed garden house at S-W corner. S garden wall partly stone.
