Description
Easter Ballindean is a building from the late 18th century, with additions and alterations from the 19th century, and part of it was converted to residential use around 1990. It features an unusual red sandstone steading range that takes advantage of the hillside levels. The northern range includes the remains of a horsemill at the upper level, while a long two-storey cartshed range, now converted for residential use, extends eastwards to a pyramidal-roofed cartshed and granary. This is mirrored by a similar structure to the south, which is flanked by a two-storey, three-bay farmhouse range. A high stone wall to the south encloses a split-level garden.
