Description
Cultoquhey House Hotel is a 2-storey building with a basement and attic, designed in an asymmetrical Tudor Gothic style. It features a 3-storey tower and porch, constructed with fine ashlar stone. The architect, Sir Robert Smirke, designed the house around 1816. In 1948-49, terraces were built using stones from Balgowan House, which include a datestone from 1602.
