Description
The gates and gate-piers at North Lodge, Invermay House, date from around 1904. They feature three circular ashlar piers that are corbelled to a square shape at the top, each topped with iron urn finials adorned with horses' heads, which were originally removed from the west gates. The wrought iron gates are notable for their relief panels depicting a lion and a thistle. The listing has been re-categorised as C(S) from B in 2006, emphasizing the group interest of the structure. This designation applies to both the interior and exterior as relevant to the building type.
