Description

Forteviot Parish Church, built in 1778, underwent repairs by William Stirling and Andrew Heiton Sr. in 1830 and was reconstructed by David Smart in 1867. The church is a rubble-built rectangle featuring a bellcote on the west side. It has two arched and keystoned windows on the west gable, along with two larger windows of the same design on the south front, which were originally flanked by doors that have since been built up. The church houses the Anderagge bell, dated 1657, which was recast but retains its original inscription. Additionally, there is a collection of fragments, including part of the Dronochy Cross.
