75, 77, 79, and 81 South Street in Perth is a mixed-use building designed by John Hamilton from Glasgow in 1904. This structure is two to three stories tall and features unaltered ground floor shops. The exterior is made of red coursed rubble with a slated roof that has broad eaves facing King Edward Street.

The front on South Street includes a gable with a first-floor pedimented Roman Doric tripartite design. Above this, there is a wide segmentally arched window that has keyblocking and curving voussoirs. On the right side, there is a tall ribbed chimney shaft, and to the east, a section with a bay window. The angle of the building is splayed and topped with a balustraded parapet. The center of the King Edward Street front features three tall segmentally arched windows that are mullioned below a transom. Additionally, there are two ventilators on the roof.
