John Hamilton, Glasgow, 1904. Mixed Burnet and Modern

Movement features. 2/3 storey with unaltered ground floor

shops, red coursed rubble, slated roof with broad eaves to

King Edward Street. South Street front has gable with 1st

floor pedimented Roman Doric tripartite, wide segmentally

arched and keyblocked window above with curving voussoirs;

tall ribbed chimney shaft on right, bay windowed section to

E; splayed angle with balustraded parapet, centre of King

Edward Street front has 3 tall segmentally arched windows

mullioned below transom. 2 ventilators at roof.
