Description

Ladywell Cottages in Birnam were built around 1870 to 1880. They are a row of inexpensive brick and harled cottages with a charming design. The central section features a two-storey gable with a narrow round-arched window on the first floor. The cottages have a single-storey and attic layout, with two windows and a central door, along with masonry dormers on either side, all covered with a slated roof. The cottages were restored and internally remodelled in 1974. In 2006, they were re-categorised from grade B to grade C(S) due to their group interest, which includes both the interior and exterior aspects of the buildings.
