Description

House of Ross in Comrie was designed by G T & C Ewing of Crief based on sketches by Mrs. Maclagan in 1908. The house was restored after a fire in 1914 by the same architects, who made detailed alterations. It is built in a Scots vernacular Georgian style and is a low, two-storey structure with harled walls and irregular plans. The main frontage features a five-window section, a pedimented central bay, and a segmental Roman Doric porch, with a courtyard on the right. The roofs are slated.
