Description

Hillcote is an early 19th-century, two-storey house with an attic. It has a continuous west-facing facade that features two windows, with the entrance door located in the right-hand bay. The original fanlight above the door remains, while the window above it is blind and the ground floor window has been reglazed. The house has three windows in total and a central timber porch that includes round-arched and fan-glazed windows on either side. The building is constructed from rubble with chamfered margins, and it has a cill course on the first floor, with margins at the angles. The west gable is skewed and has a slated roof.
