Description
1-2 Linlithgow Place in Kingoodie is a pair of single-storey and attic villas built in the early 20th century by Patrick Thoms. These symmetrical villas are designed in a plain Arts and Crafts style, featuring rubble construction and a slate roof. The buildings have relieving arches over their openings, 6-pane timber casement windows, and modern doors that do not match the original character. A coped ridge stack is present on the roof.
On the south elevation, the villas have paired asymmetrical gables at the center, each with a tripartite window on the ground floor and a bipartite window in the attic. There are doors with adjoining windows to the left and right of the gables.
The east and west gables each have a window on both the ground and attic floors, arranged asymmetrically.
The north elevation has not been seen. The interior has also not been seen. There are rubble boundary walls to the south and east of the property.
