Description
Ladyhill House, located on St Mary's Road in Birnam, was built around 1860 and features an idiosyncratic Victorian Scots Jacobean style. The building has an irregular plan and is two stories tall with dormer heads. It is constructed from rubble with patterned dressings and has stepped gables. The entrance tower on the west side has a truncated pyramid roof topped with a wrought-iron balustraded platform. The entrance includes a segmentally pedimented doorpiece and strapwork window heads, and the roof is slated.
