Description

The building is a schoolhouse located on Dundas Street in Comrie, constructed in 1832 by Peter Comrie. It is two stories high with three windows and features an anta doorway with a small fanlight above. The facade is made of whin ashlar, while the rest of the structure is built from squared rubble with pinnings. The roof is slated. Although the schoolroom wing has been significantly altered, it still includes a former jail in the basement.
