Description
Inchture Church, built in 1834 by David Mackenzie, is a Gothic-style building with a T-plan layout. It features porches at the angles, red ashlar gables, and a harled southern front. An octagonal bellcote is located at the center of the northern gable, and the church has notable grotesque drip stones. The church was gutted by fire in 1890 and subsequently rebuilt in 1891, with Duncan D. Stewart, the factor at Rossie, serving as the architect for the reconstruction.
