Description

Dated 1716, with later alterations. 2-storey, 4-bay asymmetrical rectangular-plan house sited on ground rising to W, at the end of Miller's Close. Cement-rendered and lined with inscribed sandstone ashlar pediment (repaired) over roll-moulded architrave.

E (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: modern part-glazed boarded door at ground in bay to outer right; initials, IM/MN, date, armorial panel and inscription, 'GOD'S PROVIDENCE IS MY INHERITANCE' to pediment above; window at 1st floor. Deep-set part-glazed modern timber door at ground in bay to centre. Window at 1st floor in bay to left. Window at ground in bay to outer left.

2-pane timber sash and case windows. Grey asbestos tiles; stone ridge; coped cement-rendered and lined ridge stack; predominantly uPVC rainwater goods.
