Description

4 Kilwinning Road in Dalry is a mid 19th century cottage that was originally a single storey, centre-doored, 3-bay structure. A first floor was added when the road level was raised in the late 19th century. The building is constructed of coursed tooled rubble with painted margins. It features a first floor door with a fanlight above the original door, which is accessed by steps from the left. The cottage has 8-pane sash windows throughout, an eaves course, and a cornice. The roof is slate with straight skews and there are end stacks.
