Roman Catholic Church, Brodick, Arran

The Roman Catholic Church in Brodick, Arran, is a small rectangular-plan building constructed in the mid-19th century on sloping ground. It is made of snecked red rubble sandstone and has a slate roof. The church features round-headed windows with chamfered jambs and cross-plan astragals, as well as gablet-coped skews with bracketed skewputts and corniced end stacks on the south gables.

On the north gable, there is a forestair leading to a two-leaf panelled door at the center, which is topped by an astragalled round-headed fanlight set in a slightly advanced gabled and finialled doorpiece. There are windows to the left and right of the gable, along with a small louvred oculus in the roofspace and a Celtic cross finial.

The east elevation features three windows for the church and a window for a lower, slightly recessed vestry on the left. The west elevation is similar to the east but includes a door for the vestry.

On the south gable, there is an oculus in the roofspace of the church gable, and the vestry has an advanced lean-to addition. The interior does not have any special features apparent.
