Description

The water reservoir tank in Leverburgh, Harris, was built around 1920 as part of Lord Leverhulme's unsuccessful fisheries development. It features a large circular basin situated on a rise above the main factory area. The structure is made of rubble and includes a band course above a battered base, with both the coping and interior rendered. There is a main outlet tap located in a low outshot.
