Description
131, 133, and 135 High Street in Forres is a late 19th-century building featuring two storeys and an attic, with two bays. The structure is made of tooled rubble with tooled ashlar dressings. On the ground floor, there are two original shopfronts and a narrow entrance to a pend on the left. The first floor has bipartite windows beneath a continuous hoodmoulding, although they have modern glazing. The building is topped with a heavily bracketed cornice and a blocking course. It also has two piended dormers, with the right dormer retaining its wrought-iron finial. The roof is covered with slate.
