Description

This is a two-storey house and shop located at 168 High Street in Forres, dating from 1895. The shop front is constructed of ashlar and features outer pilasters, with two-pane glazing, a fascia, and terminal finials. The first floor has a tripartite design with a detached hoodmould. The building has straight skews adorned with fluted skew blocks and a ball finial. The elevation facing Castlehill Road is built from rubble and includes a gabletted wallhead stack. The roof is covered with slate.
