Description

Marcassie is a later 18th century, southeast-facing, two-storey house with three bays. It features later single-storey, three-bay wings at the northeast and southwest gables. The exterior is harled with tooled ashlar margins and contrasting painted reveals. The central door is concealed by a later gabled porch, and the central door in the southwest wing has been blocked and is now used as a store. The windows have two- and four-pane glazing. The house has later 18th century moulded copes on the end panelled stacks, and it is topped with slate roofs. Inside, there are 18th century panelled window shutters.
