Description
Invermay is an early 19th-century, two-storey, three-bay house located on Bank Lane in Forres. The house features a harled front, harl pointed flanks, and painted ashlar margins and dressings. The central door is sheltered by a portico supported by a pair of Roman Doric columns, with a modern wrought-iron balustrade above the cornice. The low first-floor windows have been later widened to create bipartites, with two- and twelve-pane glazing. The house has coped end panelled stacks and a slate roof. There is a single-storey rear wing and a modern garage extension at the northern gable. A coped rubble garden wall surrounds the property.
