This is an early 19th-century, two-storey, three-bay house located at 5C High Street in Elgin. The first-floor room at the northern end extends across the close, creating a passageway to the garden. The exterior features harled walls with painted ashlar stone margins and includes some 12-pane glazing. The roof is modern and tiled.
