90 St Andrew Street, 88, Dalkeith

84 and 86 St Andrew Street in Dalkeith is a two-storey building constructed around 1930, featuring a rectangular plan that accommodates four local authority flats. The ground floor is harled while the first floor is rendered, with a base course and a cill course at the first floor.

On the west elevation facing St Andrew Street, there are doors with painted margins located in the penultimate bays on both the left and right sides. The windows are regularly arranged on both floors, with two-light windows in the center bays that were originally three-light, and a small aproned window above the doors on the first floor.

The north elevation has a door set in an advanced gabled bay at the center, with a window above it on the first floor. There is also a screen wall with an archway attached to the left, which connects to Nos 2-8 Shadepark Gardens.

On the south elevation, there is a centrally placed door with a tall corniced doorcase, similar to the one on the north elevation.

The east elevation features two doors at the center and maintains a regularly disposed fenestration pattern. The building has a piended roof covered with red tiles, and the windows have plate glass glazing patterns due to regrettable replacements. There are harled stacks, with a ridge stack at the center and additional stacks to the east of center on both the north and south pitches.
