Description

Mid 18th century. 2-storey, 4-bay rectangular-plan cottage, extended to rear. Painted modern harling. Stone quoins to left; projecting cills; skew gabled; painted margins.

SW (PRINCIPLE) ELEVATION: No 71: 2-storey, 2-bay; stone door surround to centre, replacement door (No 73 entrance to right); window to left, 2 simple windows, projecting cills.

No.73: 2-storey, 2-bay; stone door surround to No 71 elevation, square window with painted ashlar surround to far right.

NW (SIDE) ELEVATION: two diagonally place windows, painted surrounds, skew gabled

NE (REAR) ELEVATIONS: modern restored 2-storey housing to rear, surrounded by stone boundary wall.

Replacement 2-pane timber sash and case glazing to most, No.71-73 replacement grey slate roof. Replacement rainwater goods to each property.

INTERIOR: unseen, 2000. No. 71 (previously shop) & 73 now private housing.
