Description

Mains of Applecross Farm is a mid-19th century U-plan single storey and attic farm steading. The central block is free standing and has five bays, creating an open square. The building is harled throughout. The central block features five segmental-headed cart arches, a gabled bay at the center with a small attic window, and a small ridge polygonal cupola topped with a leaded ogee roof and a fish weather vane. The flanking wings have gabled ends facing the front and include end stacks. The roofs are piended and gabled, covered with slate.
