Description

Late 18th century, pair of hay/threshing barns. Both

orientated north/south; northern barn possibly the older.

Both of coursed drystone, square rubble; low walls with

marked external batter, wide wall vents filled with rough

vertical half-cut staves, replacing former wattling; centre

windowing doorways; piended roofs.

Northern barn; measures 55' x 19' with 5'6" wallhead height;

corrugated iron roof; modern silage pit falls floor space.

Southern barn; measures 62'6" x 19' with 6'9" wallhead

height; thatched roof over felt; cemented floor.
